Cultural Activities
During the week, our partner school in Tenerife puts together afternoon and evening activities designed to help you better understand Canary and Spanish culture. Some such activities may include:
- Salsa dance classes
- Spanish film projections
- Culture classes on a variety of topics: Spanish youth, Spanish wine, literature, art...
Weekend Excursions
Tenerife is a fascinating island brimming with natural treasures, ranging from mountains and volcanoes to beaches, lakes and wildlife reserves. We organize weekend excursions to help you see, do and experience as much of the island as possible. Some popular excursions include:
- Teide: Tenerife's famous mountain (1-2 days)
- A day in the countryside: barbecue
- La Gomera: a small island near Tenerife (2 days)
- La Caldera – La Orotava (Villages)
- Masca (village in the mountains)
- Anaga
- La Laguna (historic city; former capital of Tenerife)
- Cruz del Carmen (bathing resort)
- Santa Cruz de Tenerife
